We have a committee to ensure our uniforms are the best value for money. We adhere to the DfE statutory guidance on the Cost of School Uniforms.
Our Pledges to you, the parent (from the DfE Guidance)
- Parents should not have to think about the cost of a school uniform when choosing which school(s) to apply for. Therefore, schools need to ensure that their uniform is affordable.
- In considering cost, schools will need to think about the total cost of school uniforms, taking into account all items of uniform or clothing parents will need to provide while their child is at the school
- Schools should ensure that second-hand uniforms are available for parents to acquire. Information on second-hand uniforms should be clear for parents of current and prospective pupils and published on the school’s website.
- We go out to tender every 3 years on the uniform to guarantee best value/ quality and service
In addition to this service we also provide a 'Pre-Loved' uniform shop in school. Our 'Pre-Loved' shop receives regular donations of good quality uniform. We only ask for a donation towards the school in return. If you wish to have a look then please come to reception and a member of staff will help you.
If you have any uniform you wish to donate to the school we will happily stock it in the 'Pre-Loved' shop.
If you require assistance with uniform please contact the school via the front office or by using the following email RBA-FamilySupport@bestacademies.org.uk
Lost property is stored in our pupil reception and in the PE foyer. All named lost property is returned to the pupils.
