How to Book

To book a time slot for any of the facilities you can use any of the methods below. Please state what facility you require and when you want it (time/day/date). Bookings can be booked over a period of time (monthly/termly) or can be a one-off session (subject to the booking timetable).

Booking Contact Details

Please direct all booking enquiries in the first instance to Sally Brookes. On receiving your enquiry Sally will return your contact and advise you on availability and address any other queries you may have. She will then send conditions of hire, Risk Assessment for completion and formal booking sheet for completion.

Rates

• HALL - £18.50 per hour
• GYMNASIUM - £18.50 per hour. (There is a one-off charge of £23.50 for the first hour.)
• NEW HALL - £30.00 per hour. (There is a one-off charge of £37.00 for the first hour.)
• FIELDS (Soccer/Rugby pitches) - £18.50 per five hours. (There is an advanced booking charge of £23.50.)
• MUGA - Price on application

Concessionary Rates

There will be a reduction in fees to clubs willing to develop a "Community Sports Partnership Agreement" with the school. Please ask for more details.

Opportunities for lettings

As well as being able to accommodate a host of sporting and musical events it will also be possible to book the facilities for a variety of other uses.

 

 

Opportunities for Local Clubs

If you are a Coach or Leader of a new team or sporting club and are looking for a venue to use for training, matches, coaching sessions or one-off functions we may have what you are looking for.

MUGA (Multi-use Games Area)

This facility, measuring 60 metres by 40 metres, was opened in 2001 as a multi-use sports area. In 2008 after receiving a grant from the Football Foundation we changed the surface to 3G Astroturf. It is now a state-of-the-art floodlit games area that can accommodate Football, Hockey, Rugby and multi-sports. It is available for hire to clubs, private users and commercial businesses.

Bloomfield Café

The Old School Hall was transformed in the Summer of 2009 into a modern bistro style Café. Linked to the fully professional standard kitchen it offers a fantastic venue for clubs to host events that require catering. It measures 14m x 8m.

Sports Fields

The 14 acre fields at Robert Bloomfield are on two levels, they are well maintained and provide very good playing surfaces for Rugby and Football in the winter and Athletics in the summer. There are currently two Football pitches, two Rugby pitches and four mini-soccer pitches.

New Hall

This facility was opened in 2005. It is a multi-purpose hall, measuring 35m x 22m, that can cater for music and drama productions as well as sports. It has a Pulastic floor as well as being equipped with a 20k sound system. Changing rooms and toilets are attached.

Studio Theatre (formerly the Old Gym)

New to the school in summer 2010, the old gym has been developed into our new Studio theatre. The first phase will introduce a retractable seating unit that will hold 200 people and stage area and will be used for concerts, productions and parent meetings. The second phase will introduce a brand new sound system and lighting unit that will be able to professional standard productions. The theatre measures 16m x 10m.
